rSchoolToday’s always-on funding engine

Free feature allows any school to accept online donations for their activity programs and keep more in their school

MINNEAPOLIS, UNITED STATES, Nov. 9, 2022 / — rSchoolToday, maker of the most adopted operating system for high school business management, has released a new update to its software platform that enables administrators of high school sports and activities to accept donations online from a dedicated, personalized and secure website.

Available to all high schools across the country, the free fundraising engine feature replaces the popular traditional revenue split structure with similar products for a flat-rate approach – $1 for any donation of any size (plus card fees credit). Other features include a rotating rewards system designed to bring supporters back multiple times and the ability for donors to absorb the cost of credit card fees, often reducing the amount awarded to a school. Launched to support the company’s $40 million Dash campaign, an initiative to raise $40 million for high school activities by 2024, the new system aims to make fundraising easier, giving schools the space to worry less about budgets and focus on providing opportunities for young people. athletes to learn through sport.

“Our goal is to help schools solve their toughest challenges through technology,” said Romy Glazer, Chief Marketing Officer of rSchoolToday. “We see Funding Engine as a way to lower barriers to entry for a necessity that never should have had them in the first place. By being transparent about costs, simple in our approach, and creative about how we can engage local communities, we believe this feature will really make a difference for our partners.

While it’s not necessary to use this feature, Funding Engine will leverage existing touchpoints in the company’s software suite to help schools generate dollars from their pages and earn more, including the team alerts system, websites and calendar pages.
